Logistics investment volume registered a record increase in 2019
With an annual total of 1,853 million euros, the volume of logistics investment registered a record increase in 2019, 42% above what was registered in 2018.
According to the latest BNP Paribas Real Estate report, growth during the fourth quarter of 2019 was driven by e-commerce, registering an investment of 545 million euros in a period characterized by the dynamism that highlights the strength of the sector.
The average income in the logistics sector has increased by 4.2% in relation to the previous year, standing between 5 and 7 euros per square meter during the last quarter and, as a consequence of the low availability, most of the projects “Turnkey” and pre-rentals are the ones that lead the way.
